Men’s Cross Country Claims
Conference Title
The Black and Gold sent both their men’s and women’s Cross Country teams to Augusta, Ga. on Nov. 3 to compete in the Peach Belt Conference Championships on the Redcliffe Plantation. While the women’s team finished just outside of a top-five finish, the men’s team finished in first place and captured the conference title for just the second time in program history. Braves Show Promise in Up-and-down Cross Country Season
Season Opener at Mount Olive Sophomore Silus Kipkoech and senior Logan Ward both finished within four seconds of each other snatching the two top spots in the Men’s 8K race. Freshman Skylar Moreno finished third place for the Braves in the Women’s 6K. The Braves obtained runner-up at the Mount Olive Twilight.
