Despite a career best performance from freshman Danielle Heath, the UNCP women’s basketball team came up short of a victory as the Braves fell to the Georgia College Bobcats 59-58 on Lumbee Guaranty Bank Court on Feb. 9. The UNCP women’s basketball team picked up their first road win of the season in a dramatic fashion in a down to the wire bout with the Georgia College Bobcats that took a three pointer from junior guard Tee Graham at the buzzer to secure the 56-55 victory for the Braves on Jan. 12. The UNCP women’s basketball team brought their four-game losing streak to a halt when they turned in an incredible fourth quarter rally to complete the 53-44 victory.
