Metcon Proceeds with Construction
Construction on the Student Health and Couseling and Pychological service building is underway as of the Fall semester.
Jonathan Clark, the Director of Facilities Planning, said that they had just been approved for construction by the state and the expected completion date is by October of 2016.
Currently they are focusing on removing all of the excess water due to the heavy rain.
Clark said that Pembroke has a high water table and soil that isn’t suitable for a proper foundation so they are now working on removing all of the water and soil.
So far the only obsticle has been the weather but they are at around 5% according to Clark.
