UNCP Celebrates International Day of Charity

Student members of PAC worked very hard to help make the event a success.
UNCP celebrated International Day of Charity on the University Center (UC) Lawn from noon to 4 p.m. on Sept. 5.
The event was held by the Pembroke Activities Council (PAC) and the All Greek Council (AGC).
The entry fee for each student required a donation of two canned goods or $2 in cash.

Students stand in line for food by the UC lawn.
All donations went towards the CARE Resource Center, UNCP’s on-campus food pantry.
Students who came out to support had access to free food and games.
The event helped give back to those in the community who are unable to provide for themselves.
