University to Begin Allowing In Person Gatherings on Campus

UNCP will allow certain in-person, non-instructional gatherings, beginning Thursday, March 4, 2021. Campus Engagement and Leadership will have to approve the gatherings.

Some of the provisions are as follows: Requests must be made by student organizations that are registered with the school and in good standing with UNCP. Organizations can host one event during the semester (Spring 2021) and those gatherings are limited to 10 people indoors and 25 people outdoors. Food that is served during these events must be provided by Sodexo.

All requests are made through BraveConnect and must be done at least 5 days in advance of the event. Within 72 hours of submitting the request, host organization will be notified whether their event is approved or denied.
